Matt is licensed in both Arkansas and the great state of Tennessee.

I grew up on a farm raising chickens, sheep and cattle. As a high schooler I was active in 4-H where I showed sheep, competed in public speaking, and became a certified master gardener. In college, I began my love affair with coffee — which continues to this day. I am a massive Memphis Tiger’s fan and enjoy attending both the football and basketball games with my wife and son. I am a pretty avid baseball fan and cheer for the Braves, Cardinals, and Phillies.

During my bachelor party, I was dropped off at the Shiloh National Battlefield where I spent 8 hours completing all the necessary tasks to become a “junior park ranger” — a title which is generally reserved for schoolchildren and which I proudly claim to this day.

The world breaks everyone and afterward many are strong at the broken places. – Ernest Hemingway, A Farewell to Arms.
